A curvy Brazilian influencer has raised eyebrows by replacing her silicone breast implants for the 11th time and undergoing a second session of liposuction to achieve “the perfect body.”

“The key thing is I wasn’t feeling comfortable with my body. I felt insecure in a bikini or even when I looked at myself in the mirror,” Jenny Miranda, 31, who has 120,000 followers on Instagram, told local media.

Her surgical team, headed by Dr. Marcio Resende, reportedly performed liposuction on Miranda’s legs, back, arms, and reshaped her buttocks. It was the patient’s second liposuction, having undergone the procedure 14 years ago.

“They’ve fulfilled my dream of having the perfect body. I’ve had some procedures done on my face with other doctors, and it was now time to remodel my body for next summer and new work projects.”

The latest round of liposuction was to make her muscles stand out, said Miranda.

The aim of liposuction is aesthetic. It can remove fat cells and alter the body’s contour. But if patients don’t sustain a healthy lifestyle, there is a risk remaining fat cells will grow bigger.

The team also replaced her breast implants for the 11th time, removing her 16.9-ounce implants and replacing them with 24.6-ounce ones.

Miranda is recovering from the operation at home, where she lives with her two children. She is married to pro soccer player Artur Vieira, who is currently a center-back for the Thai team Khon Kaen.

Miranda is the adopted daughter of Brazilian singer and dancer Gretchen, widely known as the country’s “Meme Queen.”

In 2018, the most recent year statistics are available, breast augmentation was the most popular plastic surgery in Brazil, with more than 275,280 such procedures. Liposuction was second, with more than 248,110 procedures.

Liposuction is also the second-most-popular cosmetic surgery (following breast augmentation) in the U.S. In 2019, 265,000 people in America had the procedure. One-sixth of the patients were under 30.
