An unusual Istanbul show highlights drone artistry.
A light show featuring 500 drones was staged in the sky over Istanbul’s Bosphorus Bridge to introduce a new model of the Hyundai on May 25.
Drone pilot Yusuf Derinoz recorded images of the drones flying around the Maiden’s Tower at night.
Video shows images of a bird, the world and the new Tucson compact SUV, with the Bosphorus Bridge, which connects Europe and Asia, in the background.
“I do drone piloting as a hobby,” said Derinoz. “When I learned there would be a light show with drones near the Maiden’s Tower, I set out with great excitement to make my preparations and record the images.”
“Both watching and viewing that light show, with the beautiful view of Istanbul, was a great feeling,” he said.
The event lasted about 15 minutes.
